LINKS FOR LESSON PLAN 1

CyberSmart: Cyberspace World
Students consider the concept of cyberspace as a place and learn that it can be defined as real people communicating through computers connected to the Internet. They create a map to visually represent that definition, taking into account the influences of population, language, and geography around the world.

CyberSmart: Privacy — What is the big deal?
Students explore the concept of privacy in their everyday lives and as it relates to visiting websites.

IPC: Activity One — Personal Information and Privacy Matters
(See Page 5 of the PDF) This activity is designed to define what constitutes personal information and privacy; demonstrate how personal information is collected during everyday activities; and demonstrate how that information can be used and abused.
