Our Vision
An active, involved citizenry in a society characterized by principled and trustworthy leadership.
"I have sensed for many years that our society suffers from a crisis of leadership at all levels of government and in community and business organizations. I believe that an ethical want underlies and contributes to this crisis. I perceive a failure of members of our society to respond on an individual basis to a higher calling which should be a part of an examined life. There is an absence of participation by individuals in advancing the public good through public life or other means which may be open to them."

Our Mission
To promote action which exemplifies ethical principle. This is reflected in the
attention of individuals and organizations to the impact of decisions and actions
on others affected.
The Foundation seeks to advance this purpose in all fields
of community life by:
- Fostering the availability of public information and the occurrence of discussion which raises awareness of the ethical consequences of choices and actions.
- Promoting a public demand for ethically motivated behaviour by leaders in all fields.
- Encouraging education and training, which is rooted in ethical values, in all areas of activity and at all age levels. Particular attention is given to the ethical training of leaders and prospective leaders in society, as their individual example and the impact of their decisions, if properly motivated and carried out, can have broad impact for the betterment of society.
