    The Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre (ACLRC) and the University of Calgary Faculty of Law are proud to announce the creation of the Linda McKay-Panos Scholarship Fund. This fund will honour Linda’s lifelong dedication to advancing human rights, civil liberties, and equality in Alberta.

Our Goal

To raise $50,000 to establish a scholarship that may be endowed in Linda’s name.

Award Purpose

To support a University of Calgary Law student who demonstrates excellence in promoting human rights and civil liberties.

Your donation will help continue Linda’s legacy and inspire future generations of advocates for justice and equality.

Land Acknowledgement: The University of Calgary, located in the heart of Southern Alberta, both acknowledges and pays tribute to the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7, which include the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations).
